Christina Bernard, MPA
Christina Bernard is the Associate Director at the PHPDA. She was hired as the Finance and Program Analyst at the Pacific Hospital PDA in June 2010. She also serves on the Boards of the Fremont Community School and The Mockingbird Society. She has experience in non-profit management and analysis at the local, national, and international level. While a student at the University of Washington, she worked as a Research Assistant focused on performance measurement and environmental policy in local governments. She also created a program evaluation plan for a multi-year project conducted by a coalition of several local non-profits. Prior to moving to Seattle in 2007, she worked on fundraising and development at Fairvote, a non-profit dedicated to electoral reform. Previously, she spent three years at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, where she worked with medical, technical and statistical specialists to produce epidemiological estimates for the Global Burden of Disease project.
Ms. Bernard graduated with a Master’s of Public Administration from University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard University.
