$2.5 million awarded to agencies in King County

SEATTLE, August 20, 2015 -- Pacific Hospital Preservation & Development Authority (Pacific Hospital PDA) announces the award of over $2.5 million to 22 community agencies in King County to improve health care access and outcomes.

The Pacific Hospital PDA is a champion for effective health care for the vulnerable and disadvantaged in the Puget Sound region. Since 2003, the Pacific Hospital PDA has provided more than $20 million in funding for projects and programs for low-income uninsured individuals.

"We are very excited about this new round of grants," said Jeff Natter, Pacific Hospital PDA's Executive Director. "The impact of these awards goes far beyond the programs that they fund. They extend deep into the communities in King County that would otherwise face significant challenges in receiving the health care they deserve."

The following agencies were awarded Major grants, ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 for the contract year of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016:

 

The following agencies were awarded Nimble Fund grants of up to $50,000 for the contract year of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.

To apply for the next round of Major Grant funding, visit our Applying for Major Grants website page. Letters of Intent are due January 22, 2016 and full applications are due March 23, 2016 for a contract period of July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017.
