As the public steward of a legacy to serve the poor
and underinsured, the PHPDA leverages revenues from the rental of
Pacific Hospital and surrounding campus to focus on the following:
- Sustainable system changes to improve specialty
care delivery to the uninsured and underinsured.
- Increased access,
which is both measurable and significant, for the uninsured and
underinsured to receive specialty care in King
County.
- Credible measurement of the most effective ways to provide
healthcare access to the uninsured and underinsured.
The PHPDA supports this work through contracts and grants with other
local organizations.
