As the public steward of a legacy to serve the poor and underinsured, the PHPDA leverages revenues from the rental of Pacific Hospital and surrounding campus to focus on the following:

  1. Sustainable system changes to improve specialty care delivery to the uninsured and underinsured.
  2. Increased access, which is both measurable and significant, for the uninsured and underinsured to receive specialty care in King County.
  3. Credible measurement of the most effective ways to provide healthcare access to the uninsured and underinsured.

The PHPDA supports this work through contracts and grants with other local organizations.
