The Coalition Ending Gender-Based Violence (CEGV) will use PHPDA funds to address the gaps in services for survivors of domestic violence with mental health or substance use concerns by offering a training event on DV identification and response for behavioral healthcare professionals. This event will build upon the success of the Coalition’s recent partnership with the Verizon Foundation, in which a total of 330 behavioral health professionals received a day of training on the intersections of trauma and behavioral health between 2012 and 2015.
