Villa Comunitaria (formerly the South Park Information & Resource Center) was incorporated in 2019 as an organization serving the most immediate needs of the Latinx community. Villa Comunitaria has grown into an organization offering programs that strengthen Latinx families regardless of immigration status, living in South Park and beyond wherever Latinx families reside in King County.

Vision for a just society includes advocating for health access, affordable housing, education, immigration reform, healthy living, leadership development, equity, and social justice. Villa Comunitaria’s mission is “Cultivating leaders to create a stronger community.” or in Spanish, “Cultivando liderazgo para crear una comunidad fuerte”.

Villa Comunitaria programs are essential to helping immigrants in King County navigate the complexities of the United States health, housing, and education systems so they can thrive and prosper. The focus of work is in holistic approaches that supports the resilience and strengths of families.
