Major Grant Opportunities
The Health Equity Fund, the grants program of the Pacific Hospital PDA, is offering interested non-profit or public organizations an opportunity to apply for funds to support efforts to eliminate disparities in access to health resources and/or improve health outcomes for underserved communities in King County.
The focus of the funds is to maintain and/or expand current funded programs or develop new programs whose goals are to eliminate disparities in access to health resources and/or improve health outcomes for underserved communities in King County.
Agencies can apply for grants ranging from a minimum of $50,000 to a maximum of $200,000. Health Equity Fund anticipates funding totaling $1,000,000 in this process, but reserves the right to increase or decrease the funding pool based on the quality of applications received. Organizations that are interested in applying for funds below $30,000 should consider applying for a Health Equity Fund Nimble Grant.
Applicants for the 2020 Major Grant are required to submit mandatory Letters of Intent by January 17, 2020. Based on the information provided in the Letter of Intent, the Health Equity Fund will determine which projects will be invited to submit full applications.
If your agency has already received funding from Pacific Hospital PDA during the 2019 Grant Process, you are ineligible to receive additional funding for the same program, but you may apply for funding for a different program.
If your agency received funding from Pacific Hospital PDA during the 2019 Major Grant Process, you are eligible for renewal funding through our separate 2020 Renewal Grant process. Contact email@example.com for more information.
We strongly encourage all applicants to contact the Health Equity Fund prior to submitting an application with any questions regarding the grant process or how your application can best fit our criteria.
The Major Grant Application and Guidance are available on the Applying for Major Grants page.
